Art Deco on Sullivan's

You might remember a while back we designed a vintagey postcard Save the Date for bride and groom, Janie and Paul. We’ve just finished up their Art Deco inspired wedding invitation suite. Janie and Paul are getting married on Sullivan’s Island, where they love the influence of Poe. The graphic is a small ode to Poe while staying classic and timeless. The couple also decided to go with an eco-reply card which just gives the couple’s wedding website from which guests can place their accepts and regrets without the extra paper, envelopes and postage. We also did a small hand-drawn map which will give vacationing guests a feel for the couple’s favorite spots on Sullivan’s!

I love creating hand-drawn personalized maps! I just finished up a design proposal for the ladies at A Charleston Bride Event Planning! Anna, the bride wanted a vintagey feeling “travel kit” for her Save the Date. She’s using a palette of oranges, reds and ivories. The map shows guests the Charleston area with the wedding event locations along with a few downtown historical places. The “ticket” magnet with accommodation and airport informations will help to remind guests to make their reservations for Anna and Roland’s weekend!

We reworked a Save the Date of ours for spring bride and groom, Elizabeth and Basil. Elizabeth wanted a green, taupe and white color palette which I think has a lovely effect!

My amazing artist-sister-in-law, Alicia and I collaborated on a birth announcement for the latest addition to her family – Katie Perrin! Alicia’s silhouette illustration shows her two daughters, Bella and Mary Elizabeth along with family dog, Murphy, bringing their sweet new baby sister in off the breeze. The idea was inspired by one of Alicia’s favorite quotes from James 1:17 – “Every good and perfect gift is from above.”
Save the Date – Laura & Madison

I just put together a Save the Date for bride and groom, Laura and Madison. Laura loved the border from the China-Plate collection so we used that same border but in a rich gold this time. I love this combination of gold and cloud-blue on a white stock. Lovely! The card will be printed front and back.
