Southern Pineapple
In the south the pineapple is the symbol of hospitality and welcome – really the perfect symbol for a wedding! I just finished up a design proposal for summer bride, Cait, who wanted a simple and clean invitation that incorporated the southern welcome pineapple. I used a hand-drawn pineapple with calligraphy accents underneath the gorgeous all script lettering. This one will look fabulous letterpressed!

A Tree Grows in Charleston
We just finished up a stunning design for fall bride and groom, Amber and Caleb, envisioned something using hunter green and gold, foliage, and minimalistic text. It is designed to be letterpressed using a metallic gold, so keep that in mind when viewing it. Gold is very hard to represent on screen. The printed material is quite stunning! The envelope is a deep olivey/hunter green and will be printed in gold. I love the symbolism of the two colors winding themselves around each other in the tree!

We also did a slightly different version with the more traditional A7 and 4bar sizing.

Have a particular invitation in mind? Many of our collections started as custom designs. Our Alencon Collection is based on the French Alencon lace from a bride’s dress.
