Pantone announces color of the year!
“Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it.”
I’m looking forward to working this into my designs this year! I’m seeing peonies… hearts… arabesques… So excited!

And check out the Pantone Spring Palette. I’m loving the silver peony and silver cloud!

Joy Ride!
I’m just putting the finishing touches on a design for friends, Joy & Daniel, who are planning an April wedding in Nashville, Tennessee. Joy and Daniel met on a bike ride and are both avid cyclists, so of course, we had to go with a tandem bicycle motif for their design! We’ll be letterpress printing on double thick bamboo stock.

Winterberry & Gold in print!
Hot off the presses – Jessica & Fausto’s ever-so-elegant wedding invitations!

True letterpress gorgeousness! Look at the delicious impression on the 220# stock paper.

Oak Lane in grey-greens
We just reworked our classic Oak Lane invitation and Save the Date for bride, Callie. Callie is getting married in the lowcountry in October and loved the design with it’s Live Oak and Spanish Moss, but wanted to keep with her palette of grey-greens, blues and warm browns. I just loved the smokey green-blues in this palette of colors! The invitation is designed with a burlap wrap and wax seal which would bring back in the acorn graphic from the Save the Date. The clean and simple Save the Date is designed to be flat printed on a smooth recycled stock. Keeping with the natural feel, the Save the Date’s envelope is a kraft brown euro-flap with address label.

A Vintage Date in French Blue!
We just finished up Maggie & Tyson’s wedding invitation mockup. Maggie loved our Vintage Date invitation, but wanted to bring in her french blues to the design. I just love the effect. Can’t wait to print this one!

Winterberry & Gold
Sometimes just a color palette can make me so happy! I was so excited to get to work on a wintery wedding invitation for bride, Jessica, using a wintery palette of golds and winterberry blush reds. Jessica loved our full calligraphy letterpressed invitations but wanted a little more design to it. So while the main invitation remained all script text, we added in a few touches of color and design using a stylized snowflake flourish. I just loved the outcome!
